Kenneth Taylor, LCSW

Kenneth Taylor is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) credentialed through the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP). He trained with Dr. Patrick Carnes, pioneer in the field of sex addiction treatment and research.
“My principle world-view is faith-based. As a committed Christian, I have found that the Bible is unfailing in wisdom and is relevant to virtually every life issue. In addition, I believe that much has been learned through the art and science of psychology and biology that is relevant to human behavior. In particular, I integrate the work of well-respected experts like Miller, Gottman, Carnes and Amen.”
Ken is currently dividing his time between practicing in Wheaton and mission work in Cambodia.

Ken is licensed in the state of Illinois as a Clinical Social Worker with an M.S.W. degree from Aurora University. He has over 35 years of experience working with inpatient and outpatient populations. He has pastoral experience as well, and continues to actively participate in his home church. In addition, he has been a key leader in the creation of a vibrant recovery community in DuPage County.
Married to Ruth since 1968, Ken is the father of four grown children and nine grandchildren. When he isn’t working, Ken enjoys woodworking and spending time with his family.
