Sandy Rud, M.S.

As a therapist, my goal is to provide a space that is safe and open for productive communication, facilitated by compassion and empathy. I believe we all have a unique story that shapes who we are as individuals. The dynamics of relationships are often complex, and we frequently need empowerment to find out who we are, what we believe about ourselves, and how we relate to the world around us. My desire is to collaborate with my clients and assist them in their journey to health and wholeness as they process their life experiences.

I am currently a graduate student at Wheaton College working on my master's degree in marriage and family therapy. This is my second career as I previously taught in an elementary school setting for 15 years. Additionally, I received a master's degree in school administration. I believe that my experience in teaching and collaborating with parents gives me a unique perspective on child development and family dynamics.

I have been married for 33 years, with two adult children and five grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoor activities, and traveling.
