Lonn Obee, MA

Lonn has spent the last several years of his life in academia and ministry.  For the last four years he has been working on two Master's degrees. The first MA was in Christian Formation and Ministry and the second and most recent MA was in Clinical Psychology; both of which were completed at Wheaton College.

Lonn offers a unique blending of pastoral care expertise and clinical psychology expertise.  His focus on the integration of psychological theory/skills with a strong theological foundation/experience has allowed Lonn to serve others more dynamically and holistically.

Lonn has worked with a wide range of populations and issues but has more specialized experience in the following areas:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Unwanted pornography use
  • Marital conflict/struggles (Certified Prepare/Enrich)
  • Existential Issues (career/life-purpose/finding meaning)
  • College and Young Adults
  • Adolescents
  • Spiritual Issues
  • Interpersonal relationships/conflict

Lonn has an equal passion for what contributes to healing as well as what contributes to thriving and uses his rigorous academic experience and his vast practical experience to contribute to these ends.

Some of Lonn's favorite things are: researching the many things that lead to healing and thriving (including: shame, identity, acceptance, self-care...) hanging with his girls (wife and 2 daughters), drinking unhealthy amounts of coffee (espresso too), soccer (Liverpool fan), many games and hobbies (including chess, books, movies, music, pop-culture...etc.), and laughter (incredible medicine).
